A pre-empt
Here comes a special time, when I blog.
I've been readin lots of blogs on my ipod and taking notes about what makes a good blog. A good blog needs to contain relevant info about what is going on in a certain niche that I consider myself a part of. for example I consider myself a part of such niches as "Indie Music" and "Skateboarding" and "Graphic Design" and "Informed citizen doing his part to stimulate the economy". Blogs that make me feel more connected to my niches are "hipsterrunoff.com" and "Crailtap.com" and "" and "BBC.co.uk rss feed". When I go to these places I feel like I'm rounding myself off a bit, or cleaning up some corners where I'm not sure about how to feel about certain things. For example, I saw the cover art for the new Animal Collective album and thought it looked like shit. I changed my mind about this shortly after reading a couple of blogs that allow me to appreciate their apparent "disregard for my personal opinion about their music or cover art". I am now regurgitating what I read in a blog semi-unconciously and changing your ideas and maybe making you think about your influence on other people on the net.
I haven't blogged for a while because I was worried that I didn't have any original ideas to add to the net. This is silly. I am coming to realize that if there ever was an original idea on the net we will never know, because it will get recycled a thousand times instantly. So I think I'll be doing more blogging, regardless of how irrelevant the blog is. Here is an original thought:
my fucking head feels like its been full of fluids for over a month now. Every time I wake up I feel like I'm going to fall over.
I would like to see more blogging from my friends on the left and right because I don't know what is happening around towns. If you're wondering whats happening around here, I'm sitting in bed and everybody is coming back from winter break for schools. I'm going to be all graduated in spring, and I so far John's "solitary confinement" option seems like a decent one. If you have good Ideas for me share them because I just can't make decisions for myself anymore.
Also I don't think the site will die untill Feburay. The site's hits are down 33%, in case you care.
