so yeah, even though there were only about 5 people in Matt's house last night, the night was E P I C. I'll shoot you the new darkjazz mp3. that sends tingles down your spine doesn't it. thats right, NEW DARKJAZZ. we might even play a show this summer where Evan hits a gong every so often and then throws frozen pigeons at a horse.

Movie Night

I watched 3 movies in a row last night, and I'm going to review all of them for you right now.








#3: Rushmore
This Wes Andersen movie is kind of OK. Bill Murray is pretty much the only really good thing about it. Actually now that I think about it, whoever plays the main character is pretty funny too, and the interaction between him and Murray amused me. Basically this kid is trying to get a hand job from a teacher, and then he writes a hit play and Bill Murray lets him drink.





#2: Stranger Than Fiction
An artsy movie with Will Farrel and some skank with a tattoo. The whole mood of this movie was wierd. It never really got super funny because the actors were all trying to be hip. The plot is interesting and the visual effects are well done. Pretty much Will Farrel can do math good then hears voices then finds a lady then hears voices then talks to Dustin Hoffman Then almost dies but doesn't really.





#3: Taxi Driver
At this point John is thinking "Dan found my DVDs in the garage and watched two of them" and He is right. Thank you John, for exposing me to the finest piece of cinema next to Eraserhead that I've ever seen. Taxi Driver is all about Robert De Nero being a badass. He starts out as a taxi driver and the trumpet music is all downtempo and its always raining and there are hookers and porno movies and guns and drugs and robbers and the "N" word. De Niro says "You talkin' to me?" a few times and then goes into a whore house and shoots a couple of dudes in the face and shit. Thats pretty much it. Best Movie Ever.

Log Blog?

I'm thinking about doing a log blog, where I blog about every log drop for the next week. I'm not gonna do it. So yeah, before you plan a trip to your friends place ask them if they're there. Don't ask your friends who don't actually live there because they might have misinformation and lead you on a wild goose chase that takes a lot of gas money that I'll give back to kyle as soon as I stop wasting money on everything. What is everyone doing this summer? I'm kind of in a bind.
